Invoice Home

Website content writing for an online billing and invoicing product.

Invoice Home wanted to rebrand its website and needed to recreate existing pages and design a new page about the company for SEO purposes.

Create an About Us page

Invoice Home didn’t have an About Us page and their support team frequently received emails asking “Who are you!?”. As a marketer, I knew the importance of having an About Us page to inform readers about the company and put a face to the brand. I also knew this page was important for SEO and improving business credibility and reputation. The company also had a goal of getting a Wikipedia page, so adding this page was a no-brainer.

Challenge

Help people get to know Invoice Home and put a face to the brand/company. Convince the CEO and CTO of this page’s importance.

Solution

Write and design an About Us page that informs the reader about Invoice Home.

How I helped

  • Researched About Us page best practices and trends

  • Developed all copy for this page and designed the layout

  • Created a mockup to present and discuss with the marketing team and CEO

  • Collaborated with our UX/UI designer to refine page layout and content fit

  • Created a testimonials layout and section for the page

Results

  • Approved by marketing, CEO, and CTO

  • Waiting to be implemented by the development team
